The relevance of the article must therefore already be clear in its headline. The keyword should already appear in the first 60 characters of your title because Google will truncate the title on the results page after that. So if you decide to go for a longer headline, make sure you put your keyword first.
Text
Both in the introduction and in the main part, you should incorporate your keyword with regular frequency. However, this should always be reader-friendly and not appear unnatural. Be helpful and try to answer the questions your customer might have asked about a certain topic. Along the way, you’ll likely optimize your blog post naturally.
URL
The URL of your blog post plays an important role in prioritizing search results. This allows the search engine to find out what your article is about. So make sure to include your keywords in the URL as well.
Meta Description
In the Meta description, you have the opportunity to briefly formulate what the reader can expect in your text. Here, too, the keyword should be placed to enable the readers to assess the relevance of the article. Make sure to use fewer than 155 characters.
3. Link your content internally
Inbound links to your content show search engines the relevance of the topic. This also applies to links to other pages on your website. Does one blog post relate to another? Link him! 4. Use topic groups
Links between your pages are especially possible if you have previously created a content strategy. A large number of articles are related to one topic. First select the main topics for which you want to rank, then create a pillar page for each with the pillar content and now gradually create articles that deal with aspects of the main topic: this is the so-called cluster content. The best way to find these sub-topics is to try to find out what questions your potential customers have on this very topic. This also results in directly matching long-tail keywords and you kill two birds with one stone. 5. Avoid using too many similar topic tags
Topic tags organize your content on your website and are definitely helpful. However, if you use tags that are too similar, Google may assume you are just duplicating your content for better visibility. “Blogging”, “blog” and “blog posts” would be an example of too much similarity between individual tags. Instead, select 15-25 tags relevant to your company blog that is not too similar and then concentrate on them.
